3 weeks Old

Man, time flies by so fast! Easton is already 3 weeks old today!! He is a healthy growing boy! I took him to his 2 week appointment on Monday and he was up to 6 pounds and 4 ounces. He has surpassed his birth weight again (he had lost some when he first came home). He is eating about 3.5-4oz every 3 hours or so. He is still waking several times per night, I think he just wants me to snuggle him though, and guess what, I do! My favorite thing that he has done this week is smile in his sleep. He smiles so big he makes his eyes wince, so cute!

This weeks firsts:
He got to sit in his new swing and seems to really enjoy it. He stays awake for a pretty long time in it.

His cord finally fell off, so he will get to enjoy a nice bath instead of those yucky sponge baths that he hates.

Middle sister Rylie is in big girl panties today and has been going to the potty all day! I forgot to mention that I cannot stand potty training, so this is great!

Big sister Elaina is helping me plan a menu as I type, so we will be cooking together again real soon!

Happy 9 Years!!

I cannot think of any better time to start a new blog than on our Anniversary! Ryan and I have been happily married for 9 years today! I cannot believe how time has flown by. We have a nice steak dinner with simmered red wine mushrooms planned for a nice at home dinner tonight. We normally go out to a nice restaurant each year and splurge on drinks, etc., but this year since we added our newest little blessing we will be staying home. I wouldn't trade it for the world though. Being at home with our family surrounding us means more to me than a busy restaurant anyway :)

Days like these make me reflect back about my life and I truly would not change a thing. I have so many blessings in front of me! I would not have any of these if it weren't for Ryan. I am so glad that 11 years ago, his mom had to bring his kitty cat, Amber, into the vet clinic where I worked, because without out that cat we wouldn't be where we are today! Happy Anniversary Ryan, I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!!
